James G. Green, 67, of Douglas, died April 8, 2024 in Blackstone Valley Health and Rehab, Whitinsville. He was the husband of the late Michelle C. (Paquin) Green, to whom he was married 43 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Gordon and Catherine (Zerva) Green.
James was a graduate of Norfolk Aggie, Walpole, MA. He worked as a farmer for Mael Brothers, Uxbridge, as well as his family's farm in Blackstone. He loved to be with his children and grandchildren, either just hanging out with them, or riding dirt bikes with them.
He leaves his children, Shanna McLellan and her husband, Kenneth, Joshua Green and Christopher Green, all of Douglas, and Amber Green of Woonsocket; two brothers, Glen Green of Blackstone and David Green of Melbourne, FL; 16 grandchildren, Corrie and her husband, CJ, Charlotte, Jefferie, Damian, Tayla-Leigh, Brook, Averie, Aidyne, Tristen, Madeline, Catherine, Hunter, Ella, Daxon, Tracie, and Kenneth, Jr.; six great grandchildren, Ozzy, Audrey, Leighton, Hazel, Karson, and Nyny; and many nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O.Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715.
