Blanche Ducharme

Blanche (Guilbault) Ducharme, 96, of Greenville, died August 21, 2016, in the Village at Waterman Lake. She was the wife of the late Everett E. Ducharme. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Blanche (Forget) Guilbault.

Blanche was a graduate of St. Claires High School and worked at WT Grants as a clerk for many years. She was a communicant of St. Anthonys Church. Above all, she loved her family. Blanche enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren; she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by two sons, Oscar E. Ducharme and his wife Veronique of Woonsocket; Wayne B. Ducharme and his wife Debra of Woonsocket; a daughter, Barbara B. Frechette and her fianc Moise Bourassa of South Dartmouth, MA; a brother, Oscar Guilbault and his wife Marguerite of Ashford, CT; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A liturgy service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:30 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with calling hours beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Pauls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN38101.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at The Village at Waterman Lake, and to her caregivers from Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI.
