Lillian F. (Malenfant) Sinko, 88, of Richmond St., died December 27, 2017 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Joseph Sinko and the late Patrick Dowling, Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Taylor) Malenfant. She had mostly been a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
Lillian worked as a cashier for the former Almac’s for twenty five years and for Cumberland Farms for twenty five years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and lived by the motto “shop ‘til you drop.”
She is survived by two sons, Leo Sinko and his wife Mendy of Woonsocket and Joseph Sinko and his wife Victoria of Oklahoma; two daughters, Sandy Blumberg and her husband Sanford of Anaheim, CA and Patricia Paquette and her husband Richard of Anaheim, CA; a sister, Rita McClanahan of Woonsocket, her companion, William Reynolds of Blackstone, thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Patrick Dowling and sister of the late Alfred, Charles and Edward Malenfant, Joan Arnold, Lucy Leclerc and Gladys Yagnesak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Charles Church 190 North Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 – 7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
