Marc C. Paradis, 51, of Ellicott City, MD, died unexpectedly November 26 at his home in Ellicott City. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of Jacqueline I. (Bachand) Paradis of North Smithfield, and the late Maurice C. Paradis.
Marc graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Accounting and the University of Baltimore with an MST. He was also a C.P.A. and received a law degree from Southern Methodist University. He was working as a tax attorney for Wells Fargo in Columbia, MD.
Besides his mother Jacqueline, he is survived by his children, Nicolas Paradis of Boone, NC, and Lucienne Paradis of Dublin, OH and their mother, Jeannine Lesperance. He also leaves two sisters, Lisa Sturgeon and her husband Ralph of Cranston, and Paula Paradis and her husband Daniel Reuland of Chapel Hill, NC; his longtime companion, Nancy Clark, and several nieces and nephews, Jason Whitehouse, Kirsten Keiser, Matthew Whitehouse and Frances, Oliver and Tobias Reuland.
Marc was known for his dry wit and was a gentle soul who deeply loved his children, family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 10:30AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville. Family and friends are invited. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
