Mary A. (Czupryna) Stefanick, 94, formerly of Richardson St., Uxbridge, passed awayNovember 14, 2017 in the Blaire House of Milford. She was the wife of the late Robert Stefanick whom she married September 13, 1947. Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Frances (Kozaka) Czupryna.
Mrs. Stefanick worked for Riverside Worsted, Bonte Spinning and A.T. Cross. She was a dedicated lifelong member of Our Saviour Parish participating in the Adoration Society singing in the choir. During her retirement she enjoyed her affiliation with the St. Josephs Senior Group in Central Falls. Marys family would especially like to thank the Blaire House of Milford for their engaging and compassionate care.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John, Joseph, Stanley, John, and Veronica Czupryna and Frances Czyzewicz, Anna Prymak and Nellie Waitorwicz.
Her funeral will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, beginning with calling hours at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Our Saviour Polish National Catholic Church, 500 Smithfield Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery on Farm St. in Blackstone. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Our Saviour Polish National Catholic Church, or to the Blaire House of Milford Activities Fund, 20 Claflin St., Milford, MA 01757.
