WOONSOCKET - Muriel M. (Jalbert) Boucher, 90, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2016 in Greenville Nursing Home, Greenville. She was the wife of the late Omer S. Boucher for 45 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo Jalbert and Ernestine (Landry) Jalbert.A high school graduate, Muriel worked most of her life as a seamstress for Narragansett Knitting, formerly located in Woonsocket. She enjoyed her time spent with family, playing bingo and card games. Her infectious smile and laughter lit up the hearts of everyone around her. She was devoted to her family and will be sorely missed.Mrs. Boucher was the loving mother of Roger Boucher of Woonsocket, Suzanne LaRouche of Blackstone, MA, Debra Kuchinski of Sutton, MA, Doreen Boucher of Coventry and Omer D. Boucher of Uxbridge, MA. She is also survived by one sister, Jeannette Gobielle of Ayers, MA, eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Guay, her sister, Pauline Morin and her granddaughter, Lisa Thifault.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 beginning with visitation at 8:30 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 323 Rathbun St, Woonsocket.
