Nancy Lariviere Obituary

Nancy (Vilandre) Lariviere, 70, of Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, died April 22, 2017 in Woonsocket Health Rehabilitation Centre. She was the wife of Rene Lariviere whom she married on October 26, 1970. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Aurea (Martin) Vilandre.

Mrs. Lariviere was a homemaker, but had previously worked for the former Johnny Shadows Restaurant and the former Eastland Bank. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and traveling with her husband.

Besides her husband, Rene, she is survived by her son, Jason Lariviere and his wife Amy of Woonsocket; her sisters-in-law, Janet Vilandre of Hopkinton, RI and Rachel Dumas and her husband Jim Manigan of Woonsocket; as well as her goddaughter and niece, Laurie Dumas and her nephew, Joseph Vilandre. She was the sister of the late Normand Pete Vilandre.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are omitted.
