Normand Beauregard Obituary

Normand A. Beauregard, 79, of Cumberland, passed away on October 22, 2016 from complications of a stroke, in Philip Hulitar Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Rosemary (Salome) Beauregard whom he married in 1959. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Armand and Yvonne (Morel) Beauregard.

Normand joined the Navy in 1954 at the age of 17; where most of his days were spent in the glass nose of aircraft studying weather patterns. After his honorable service in the Navy Normand started his own company Beauregard Sons from 1968-1978, he then went on to work for Raytheon Missile Systems until his retirement in 2005. Normand enjoyed fishing, traveling and photography. In the 1960s he was also an Eagle Scout leader in Woonsocket.

Normand is survived by three sons, James Beauregard of Attleboro; Normand Beauregard and his wife Judith of Attleboro; John Beauregard and his wife Janice of No. Smithfield; two daughters, Alycyn Bouckaert and her husband Tom of Woonsocket; Tami Jacques and her husband Ronald of Johnston; sister, Claire Richards of Woonsocket; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Derek, Adam, Tori, John, and Eden Beauregard, Ross and Renee Jacques, and Maggie Bouckaert. He is also survived by his loving companion Lucie Drobnis.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016, beginning with visitation at 4 PM followed by a service at 8 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. A private burial will be held at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
