Patricia A. Heistand

Patricia A. (Godin) Heistand, 64, of Burrillville, died September 14, 2016, in Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. She was the wife of 44 years of Richard Heistand. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Lillian (Lefrancois) Godin.



Pat, along with her husband, ran the clothing ministry at Saint James Episcopal Church for 8 years. She loved helping people and nothing made her happier than giving back and sharing her heart with everyone around her.



Besides her husband, Richard she leaves behind their children; Richard Heistand Jr. of Harrisville; Eric Heistand and his wife Julie of Blackstone, Ma; Alisha Heistand of Harrisville; two grandsons, Hunter and Harrison Heistand and a sister, Carol Bergeron.



Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 10 AM in St. James Episcopal Church, 24 Hamlet Avenue, Woonsocket. The family will receive friends starting at 8:30 AM in the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
