Rolande Pouliot Obituary

Rolande T. (Lamoureux) Pouliot left this world and went home to the Lord on January 04, 2018. She had been a resident at the Overlook Nursing home for the last 5 years.

Born in Woonsocket to Napoleon Lamoureux and Josephine (Blanchette) Lamoureux.

She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Pascoag. Rolande held various positions of employment over the years while raising her 7 children. She retired from the A. T. Cross company. She volunteered at the Bradford Court Association and was involved in many programs at the Bradford Court Apartments.

Rolande was predeceased by her husband, Raymond E. Pouliot whom she married in 1946, 6 brothers and 6 sisters.

She is survived by 7 children, 4 sons, Edward Pouliot of Bingham ME, Robert Pouliot of Mapleville RI, Ronald Pouliot of Woonsocket RI , Raymond Pouliot of Richmond RI and 3 daughters, Nancy Vanasse of Barrington RI, Judith Johnson of Queen Creek AZ and Susan Giguere of Pascoag RI and one sister, Simone Remillard of Woonsocket RI.

Rolande was the Grandmother to 26 Grand Children and 39 Great Grandchildren and one Great- Great Grandchild. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral will be held Monday, January 8. 2018 beginning with visitation at 9 AM followed by a service at 10 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Pascoag Community Baptist Church, 111 Church St., Pascoag, RI 02859.
