Gary H. Stone

BLACKSTONE - Gary H. Stone, 65, of Blackstone and formerly of North Smithfield, died May 18, 2016 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Wallace E. and Dorothy M. (Potvin) Stone.
Mr. Stone worked as a First Class Lineman for Blackstone Valley Electric for over twenty years and for Pascoag Utility for ten years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing, the ocean and quahogging. Gary was an avid fan of all New England sports teams and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two children; Joshua Stone and Jennifer Stone Diogo, his siblings; Wayne, Keith and Kyle Stone and Cheryl Bator, and his grandchildren; Cameron and Olivia Stone and Jake and Joseph Diogo.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10 AM in Slatersville Congregational Church, 25 Green St., Slatersville. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 - 7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
