Ann McCusker Obituary

Ann Elizabeth (Hunt) McCusker, 71, resident of Rhodes Avenue, she passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket, RI. She was the wife of the late Robert E. McCusker, Jr. Ann was born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Cook) Hunt.

Ann worked for over 30 years as a phone operator for the former New England Telephone Company, now Verizon, before retiring in 1997. She also spent many years as a waitress at the Village Haven Restaurant in North Smithfield. Ann loved spending time with her family and friends and of course her pets.

Ann is survived by her two sons, Kelly McCusker and his wife Betty Groleau of North Smithfield and Michael McCusker and his wife Melissa of Woonsocket; her daughter, Tricia Dacey and her husband Roger of Woonsocket; her sister, Beatrice Theroux of North Kingstown; her niece, Amy Theroux of Jamestown; her four grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, Alissa and Gabriel and one great grandchild, Bazel. She is preceded in death by her nephew, Peter Theroux of Exeter.

Her funeral will be held Thursday June 28, 2018 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St. Blackstone, MA. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
