Carol Stevenin Obituary

Carol A. (Boucher) Stevenin, 68, of Slatersville, passed away November 5, 2018 in Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Ronald Stevenin. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Annette (Riendeau) Boucher of Slatersville and the late George Boucher.

She worked as a medical secretary for over thirty years. Following her retirement, she enjoyed working as a teaching assistant for North Smithfield schools. Carol loved the beach, traveling, and always looked forward to her ladies golf league on Thursdays as well as Sunday golfing with her husband and dear friends. She especially loved spending time with her three grandchildren. She was part of their daily lives. Carol brought so much joy and laughter to everyone around her.

Besides her mother Annette, and her husband Ronald, Carol is survived by her daughter Alyssa Stevenin and her three sons, Riley, Aiden, and Zachary Runk of Slatersville, and her significant other Jared Wetmore and his two sons Zachary and Nathan Wetmore; as well as a brother, Dennis Boucher and his wife MaryAnn of Glocester and their children, Derek Boucher and Julia Grist.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
