Charles Leclerc Obituary

Charles Raymond Leclerc, 52, of Mount Pleasant View Ave., Cumberland, died May 13, 2018 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Claire (DAnjou) Leclerc of Manville and the late Raymond Leclerc.

Mr. Leclerc worked for many years at CVS/Mark Stevens, Cumberland and Honeywell, Woonsocket, and most recently for ten years for the RI Community Food Bank. Charlie was a great dad, son, brother, and loyal friend to many. He proudly served in the National Guard, enjoyed fishing, laughing and spending time with family and friends and was a lifetime Red Sox and Patriots fan.

Besides his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Alicia and Emily Leclerc of Lincoln; his loving companion, Nancy Dumond with whom he lived; and two sisters, Rachel Kiernan and her husband John and Denise Leclerc all of Manville.

His funeral will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 8:45 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 - 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 State Street #200, Providence, RI 02908 or to RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave, Providence, RI 02907.
