Dolores L. (Lefebvre) Ficca, 89, of North Smithfield, passed away March 19, 2018 in Atria Lincoln Place. She was the wife of the late Anthony P. Ficca, whom she married August 20, 1949. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Alberic and Lillian (Petipas) Lefebvre.
She worked as a CNA for Woonsocket Health Rehabilitation Center in Woonsocket, retiring in 1992. She was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church. She taught CCD for twenty-two years to Special Education Students, helping them prepare for their First Communion.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Ficca and his wife Ann Marie of North Smithfield, and Anthony P. Ficca II and his wife Janet of Norfolk, VA; a daughter, Christine Belisle and her husband Normand of Spring Hill, FL; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; as well as a sister, Cecile Brouillette of Port St. Lucie, FL. She was the mother of the late Terri Ficca, and the sister of the late Therese Lefebvre.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery on Farm Street in Blackstone. Calling hours are Monday from 4 - 6 PM in the funeral home.
