Doris Innis

Doris (Moss) Innis, 81, of Roberta Ave, died August 19, 2019 at home. She was the wife of the late John Cecil Innis. Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Daisy (Wise) Moss.

Mrs. Innis worked as a Registered Nurse for Hackensack Hospital and Englewood Hospital, both in New Jersey. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Marc Innis and his wife Kim of Woonsocket; three sisters, Marilyn Digsby of Bronx, NY, Doreen Yamusah of Manhattan, NY, and Ernestine Moss of Manhattan, NY; a grandson, Corey Innis of Woonsocket; and two step granddaughters, Tara Trottier of Lincoln, and Tia Washington of Woonsocket.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Landmark Medical Cancer Center, 116 Eddie Dowling Highway, North Smithfield, RI 02896.
