Dorothy C. Felix

Dorothy C. (Woodcome) Felix, 89, of Woonsocket, RI passed away July 24, 2017 in Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late, great Russell J Felix. Born in Northbridge, MA, she was the daughter of Alfred and Marguerite (Coyne) Woodcome.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Boisvert of Whitinsville and Jane-Marie Felix of Woonsocket, along with an impressive 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Nolet, her foster son, Tommy Fenning, brother, Raymond Woodcome and sister, Marguerite Ceisluk.

Loved by all and showing love for all, Dorothy became a surrogate mother and grandmother to many. In earlier years, she was an active member of the Woonsocket High School Band Boosters, the Saint Germaine Club and was a communicant of All Saints Parish in Woonsocket. She was also a dedicated Patriots and NASCAR fan.

Calling hours are Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 4-7 at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street in Woonsocket. Her funeral will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 1409 Park Avenue in Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road in Cumberland, RI.
