Edgar A. Chapdelaine

Edgar A. Chappy Chapdelaine, 81, of North Smithfield, passed away June 21, 2017, in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Jeannette (Pelletier) Chapdelaine. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Rolland and Lillian (Poirier) Chapdelaine.

He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church. Edgar enjoyed traveling, fishing in Florida, going to the beach, long talks and visits with his family and reading in his later years.

Besides his wife Jeannette, he is survived by, three daughters, Michelle A. Lamothe and her husband Larry of Lincoln; Louise M. Damon and her husband Rick of Blairsville, GA and Susan E. Gaulin of Woonsocket; one son Ronald G. Chapdelaine and his wife Charlotte Robidoux, four grandchildren, Amy and Alex Phillips, Nicholaus and Andrew Gaulin, sister-in-law, Jacqueline Pelletier of North Smithfield, and brother-in-law, Gerard Pelletier of Sierra Vista, AZ. Edgar was preceded in death by his brother, Roland Chapdelaine and brother-in-law, Roland Pelletier.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 26, 2017, at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery West Wrentham Road, Cumberland. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5 PM in the Holt Funeral Home.
