Evelyn B. Williams

Evelyn B. (Jette) Williams, 76, of Woonsocket, died November 18, 2018 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Sherman Williams, Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Honorius and Isabelle (Gaudette) Jette.

Mrs. Williams worked on the assembly line for General Motors, retiring in 2003.

She is survived by a son, Daniel Rasmusson and his wife Ellen of Brooklyn, CT; five daughters, Deborah Grenon of Punta Gorda, FL, Sharon OHearn and her husband John of Woonsocket, Sherrie Rasmusson-Mann and her husband Ken of Johnston, Darlene Boisvert and her husband Bob of Georgeville, TN and Cindy Rasmusson of Woonsocket; a brother, Honorius Jette, Jr. of Woonsocket; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward, Francis, Normand and Robert Jette, Pauline Boucher, Teresa Comtois, Doris Jette and Barbara Vitello.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 beginning with visitation at 3 PM followed by a service at 5 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
