Freddy Baerga

Freddy Baerga, 58, of Woonsocket, died July 20, 2019, in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Rosetta (Hill) Baerga. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Ernesto and Hilda (Figueroa) Baerga.

He graduated from Eastern District High School in Brooklyn, NY. Freddy enjoyed playing handball and going to the beach. He will be remembered for always being a jokester.

He is survived by his four children, Tanisha and Bryana Harris of MA; Vera and Thomas Hill of RI; four siblings, Sandra Baerga, Fernando Santiago, Rosa Rodriguez and Joe Mercado; eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Orlando and Carlos Baerga.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 5 7 PM with a short service being held at 5:30PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket.
