Gary L. Paris, 63, of North Smithfield, passed awayDecember 14, 2019 at Hope Hospice Palliative Care in Providence. He was the husband of 39 years to Linda (Renaud) Paris. Born in North Smithfield, he was the son of the late Lucille (Gregoire) and Robert Paris of Lincoln.
Gary was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed football, golf and basketball, as well as playing on his computer. Gary and Linda enjoyed vacationing together in Florida. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Besides his wife Linda, Gary is survived by their son, Brian Paris and his wife Catie of Canton, GA; three grandchildren, his father, Robert Paris of Lincoln;threesiblings, Paul Paris of Sandy, UT, Audrey Bernier of South Kingstown and Bruce Paris of North Smithfield. As well as several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 10AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. Pauls Church, 48 St. Paul Street, Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm Street, Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
