Gertrude (Phaneuf) Leduc Nardolillo

Gertrude (Phaneuf) Leduc Nardolillo, 90, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, December 15, 2018. She was the wife of the late Frederick Leduc and the late Armand Nardolillo. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Laurencia (Mayer) Phaneuf.

She was an employee of Tupperware in North Smithfield, retiring in 1985. Gertrude was active with the St Agatha’s Senior Citizens Group, the St. Joseph's Senior Group, the Woonsocket Senior Center Group, as well as a member of the Red Hatter’s Society. She was a long standing communicant and active member of St. Theresa's Church, Nasonville, RI

She is survived by three sons, Frederick Leduc and his wife Charlene of Burrillville, with whom she lived, Roland Leduc and his wife Diane of North Smithfield; Lucien Leduc and his wife Patty, of  Palm Beach, FL;  three daughters, Pauline Gadbois and her husband Jack of Zephyrhills Florida; Rita Leipf and her husband Phillip of Bradenton Florida; Claire Lussier and her husband Philip of Burrillville; two brothers, Joseph Phaneuf of Odessa, FL; Rene Phaneuf and his wife Claire of North Smithfield; ; nineteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters Evelyn Danis and Diane Martin; two brothers Albert Phaneuf and Emile Phaneuf and a sister Hortense Phaneuf.

Gertrude’s family would like to thank the thoughtful staff of the Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of Rhode Island for their compassionate support. Our mother’s passing was peaceful and loving because of their comfort and nurturing guidance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Theresa's Church, 35 Dion Drive, Nasonville. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St., Woonsocket.
