Helen M. McGannon

Helen Margaret (Davis) McGannon, 79, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Born in Slatersville, RI she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Esther Davis. In addition to her parents, Helen is predeceased by her brothers, George Davis, Harold Davis, James Davis, Donald Davis and Thomas Davis; sister, Florence Brushett and brother in law, David Ballard.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, John T. McGannon; two sons, Stephen John McGannon and his wife Lurleen of Latrobe, PA; and David C. McGannon of Southwick, MA; three grandchildren, Wade McGannon, Brandon McGannon, and Alexis McGannon; two sisters, Ruth Anderson and her husband Norman of Hutchinson Island, FL; and Agnes Ballard of Cranston, RI; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Slatersville Cemetery, Greene St., Slatersville.
