John H. Therrien, 66, of Blackstone died April 15, 2019. He was the husband of Charlotte Therrien. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Anita (Bilodeau) Therrien.
Mr. Therrien graduated from St. Marys High School, Milford, MA. He was a constable and a member of the Blackstone Zoning Board, as well as, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks. John was a devoted member of St. Theresas Church, Blackstone. He worked in a few places, but his passion was music, working as a disc-jockey for thirty-three years as the owner of Big Johns Party Sounds.
Besides his wife Charlotte, he is survived by his children, Jason, Steven and Justin Therrien, Angella Delcore and Amanda Kostas; his stepdaughter, Erika Freiberger; five siblings, David, Richard, Paul and Robert Therrien and Helen Gongoleski; and nineteen grandchildren. He was the stepfather of the late Melissa Rice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Theresas Church, 630 Rathbun Street, Blackstone, MA.
