Kevin B. Ward

Kevin B. Ward, 60, of Danielson, CT, formerly of Woonsocket and Lincoln, RI, died November 26, 2018. Born in Woonsocket, he was the devoted husband of Laura (Orchard) Ward, and the son of the late Dr. Bernard and Simone (Mousseau) Ward.

He was kind and generous to all, and will be greatly missed. He was a graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy and the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, graduating with degrees in Finance and a MBA. He worked in Finance with the State of Rhode Island, Dept. of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH). He was a past president of the Cumberland-Lincoln Rotary Club.

Besides his wife Laura, he is survived by his sisters and brothers, including: Kathleen Jarry of Cumberland; Richard Ward and his wife Lorraine of North Providence; Thomas Ward and his wife Carol of Cumberland; John Ward and his wife Catherine of Woonsocket; Vincent Ward and his wife Nancy of Woonsocket; Robert Ward and his wife Jenifer of Clifton Park, NY; Dr. David Ward and his wife Michelle of Burrillville and Christine (Ward) Hammond and her husband Scott of Burrillville, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis.

The Ward family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Funeral services and burial will be private.
