Lorraine S. Ryan

Lorraine S. (Kappelle) Ryan, 82, of Fox Hill Rd., died March 19, 2018 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Richard A. Ryan, Sr. of Blackstone. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Jacques and Clara (Beaudoin) Kapelle.

Mrs. Ryan worked as a Nurses Assistant for Hospice St. Antoine, North Smithfield for many years. She was a proud supporter of the Blackstone Historical Museum.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Richard Ryan, Jr., John Ryan and Mark Ryan, all of Blackstone and Scott Ryan of Millville; a daughter, Kate Dubuc of Plattsburgh, NY; his sister, Jeannine Carey of Uxbridge, MA; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three siblings, Pierre and Ferdinand Kapelle and Solange Stryk.
