Lorre E. Daignault

Lorre E. Daignault, 65, of Woonsocket, died August 25, 2019, in Landmark Medical Center. Born in Newport, she was the daughter of Rosamond (Ansay) Daignault of Woonsocket, and the late Norman Daignault.

She worked for many years as an IT Specialist, serving various VA Hospitals. Lorre was very committed to wildlife causes and animal shelters, giving generously in many ways. She enjoyed volunteering and fundraising for the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary.

Besides her mother Rosamond, who was her very best friend, Lorre is also survived by her brother Norman Daignault of Harrisville.

Private services for Lorre were held under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary, 266 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI 92895.
