Michael K. Chan

Michael K. Chan, 46, of Woonsocket, died May 7, 2019 in his home. He was the husband of Rebecca J. (Gargano) Chan, to whom he was married 24 years. Born in Alameda, CA, he was the son of William J. Chan and his wife Rita of Washington, and the late Maria Bonita (Mac Sule) Chan.

Michael worked as a painter, until his retirement. He enjoyed darts, and played in many leagues. Michael was an avid reader, who always had a book in his hand.

Besides his wife, father, and stepmother, he leaves his stepdaughter, Melanie L. Izzo of Cumberland; his brother, Antonio Diaz of San Leandro, CA; his sister, Yvonne Chan; and his granddaughter, Ashley Marie Izzo of Cranston.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
