Muriel A. Parenteau

Muriel A. (Tellier) Parenteau, 85, died August 23, 2017 in the Lydia Taft House, Uxbridge, MA. She was the wife of Raymond M. Parenteau of Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leonide and Rose (Petrin) Tellier.

Mrs. Parenteau worked as a hairdresser and retired from Wrentham State where she worked as a dietary aide and a nurses aide. Muriel also sang in the choir at St. Theresas, Blackstone.

Besides her husband Raymond, she is survived by two sons, Mark Parenteau of Blackstone and James Parenteau of Milville; two daughters, Lorraine Roy of Blackstone and Jeanne Papski of North Smithfield, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late John and Michael Parenteau and sister of the late Fernande Frigon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10 AM in Holy Family Church, 414 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 314 Wrentham Rd., Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
