Normand Letourneau Obituary

Letourneau, Normand M., 89, of Woonsocket, passed away on May 28, 2018 at his home. He was born and lived most of his life in Woonsocket, except for the 13 years he lived in Florida.

He was the beloved husband of Doris M. (Lacroix) Letourneau, the son of the late Eusebe (Pete) and Irene (Mercier) Letourneau. He was the brother of Roger Letourneau and his wife Chele of Green Bay, WI and was preceded in death by his sister L. Anita St. George of Lincoln.

Beside his wife Doris, he is survived by his sons, Gary D. Letourneau and his wife Irene, Glenn R. Letourneau and his wife Linda of Woonsocket and his daughter Jan Y. Lemoine and her husband Dennis North Smithfield. He also was the stepfather to Brian Parenteau and his wife Rene of Johnston and David Parenteau and his wife Kim of Woonsocket. He leaves 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Normand worked for Dennison Mfg Co. of Framingham, MA for 33 years, he was a Department Manager at the time of his retirement in 1990. In the early 1960s he was a coach in the Bernon Little League and was also the Cub Scout-Master for the St. Agatha Parish Troop.

His funeral will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 1409 Park Avenue Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Rd Bellingham, Calling hours are Friday from 5- 8 PM in the funeral home.
