Paul R. Barrie

Paul R. Barrie, 57, of Cumberland, passed away on July 20, 2018. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Mulhearn) Barrie. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Amasa and Gertrude (Roberge) Barrie.

Paul was a Signalman for the US Navy, and went on to drive tractor trailers for RL Carriers for seventeen years. Paul enjoyed vacationing, riding his motorcycle, bowling, spending time outdoors, and most importantly being a Pepere and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Patricia, he is survived by his children, Nicholas Barrie and Brandie of Appleton, WI; Bill Turner of Woonsocket; Lynn (Turner) Sobrack and Jason of Largo, FL; Gary Turner and Nikkie of Cumberland; AJ Maynard and Kim of Chepachet; twelve grandchildren, Alicia, Christopher, Adelaide, Kelsie, Kayden, Sophia, Savanah, Karyssa, Alivia, Kaylee, Lucas, Logan, 3; two brothers, John Barrie and Donna of Woonsocket; Robert Barrie and Melissa of VT; a sister, Joyce Charrette and Leo of Pembroke, NH; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Barrie.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 1:30 to 5:30 PM, concluding with Military Honors. In the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St., Woonsocket. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milk Fund, Inc. 245 Main Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895.
