Theresa C. Badeau

Theresa C. (Croteau) Badeau, 90, of Woonsocket, RI, died October 16, 2017 in St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield, RI. She was the wife of the late Robert Moulay and the late Clement L. Badeau. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Amanda (Brodeur) Croteau.

Mrs. Badeau was the Queen Mum of the Red Hat Society, a member of the welcome committee for Emerald Bay Manor and a communicant of St. Charles Church, Woonsocket. Theresa enjoyed camping, singing, dancing, BINGO, playing cards, Autumnfest and trips to the casino.

She is survived by her eight children, Jeanne Moulay of Woonsocket, Roger Moulay and his wife Edith of Woonsocket, Georgette Paolantonio and her husband Barry of East Greenwich, Jacqueline Mozzicato and her husband John of Mansfield, CT, Sandra McGonagle and her husband Brian of Everett, MA, Clement R. Badeau and his wife Kim of Douglas, MA, Susie Badeau of West Warwick and Donna Fontaine and her husband Gregory of Gilbert, AZ; two step children, Roger Badeau and his wife Dawn of Woonsocket and Linda Paliy and her husband Mark of North Providence; twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robert, Diane and Michelle Badeau, stepmother of the late Leo Badeau. Theresa is survived by her sister, Aurore Lawerence of Woonsocket; she was also the sister of the late Ernest, Wilfred, Gerald, Donald, Norman and Fernand Croteau, Dorila Pepper, Yvette Doyan, Irene Gauthier and Pauline LePerle.

Her funeral will be held Friday, October 20, 2017 in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street with calling hours beginning at 4 PM and a service at 7 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St., #306, Providence, RI 02906.
