Vivianne Duquette Obituary

Vivianne L. (Cote) Duquette, 93, of North Smithfield and formally of North Fort Myers, FL, died November 22, 2017 in the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of Lionel Leo Duquette and the late Gerard Savard. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Phillippe and Marianne (Auger) Cote.

Vivianne loved entertaining, socializing and laughing.

Besides her husband Lionel, she is survived by two sons, Marc Savard of West Warwick and Luc Savard and his wife Barbara of Newtown, PA; a daughter, Louise OBrien and her husband Daniel of Slatersville; a brother, Paul Cote of Smithfield; a sister, Phylisse Bowen of Vernon, CT; five grandchildren, Erin and Patrick OBrien, Shana and Brieanna Savard, and Geniene Smith; as well as two great-grandchildren, Tristan and Kyrie Smith. She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Suzanne Laflamme, Louise Lussier, and Clarisse Sabourin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
