William F. ""Bill"" McGarrigle

William F. Bill McGarrigle, Jr. 69, of Brookfield, MA, died June 20, 2019. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late William F. McGarrigle, Sr. and Doris (Desmaris) McGarrigle.

Bill was a graduate of Mt. St. Charles Academy. He worked as a horse trainer for most of his life, but had previously worked as a pipe fitter. Bill was a member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association.

He leaves his children, Shawn McGarrigle of Mapleville, and Lori McGarrigle of North Smithfield; five grandchildren, Jade, Dylan, Alexzandriana, Brandon, and Blake; his great grandson, Jacob; and his former wife Karen (Voelker) McGarrigle of North Smithfield. He was predeceased by his son, Kelly McGarrigle.

Private arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu, of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the RI SPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Providence, RI 02915.
