Aaime Marcet Obituary

Aaime S. (Leonard) Marcet, 39, of Woonsocket, died March 29, 2026, in her home. She was the wife of Joseph Marcet, whom she married on August 17, 2019. Born in Seekonk, she was the daughter of Annette E. Leonard of Bellingham.

Aaime was a graduate of Northeastern University. She worked for Kidde Fenwal, Inc. for 20 years, most recently as a Planner for the suppression team. Aaime enjoyed quilting, the beach, and animals, especially her cats, Punkin and Smokey. Above all else, she loved being a mom and auntie, and spending time with her family.

Besides her husband, Joseph, and her mother, Annette, she leaves her son, Joshua Marcet of Woonsocket; her brother, Sean O'Brien and his wife, Emily, of Bellingham; her Mammy, Joann Leonard of Berwick ME; her niece and nephews, Tyler and Emily Marcet and Lucas and Connor O'Brien; two half sisters, Kaitlyn and Samantha Sullivan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her Papa, Richard Leonard.

Her visitation will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, beginning at 3 PM, followed by a service at 6 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary, 266 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
