Anthony “Tony” J. Myette, 66, of Chepachet, passed away August 18, 2023 in Miriam Hospital, Providence after a long fought journey with multiple myeloma cancer. He was the husband of 43 years to Deborah (Payette) Myette, whom he married January 12, 1980. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Roland and Barbara (Marquis) Myette.
Tony served in the United States Air Force and after serving his enlistment, he worked as a machinist for the Foxboro Company for over forty years where he retired from in 2019. He enjoyed camping while he and his wife raised their two sons and had countless stories of all the memories and adventures they had as a family. Tony had a passion for Corvettes and enjoyed taking rides and Sunday drives with friends through New Hampshire and Bar Harbor, Maine. He enjoyed attending car shows and watching them, as well as car restoration shows on his favorite automotive channels. He always looked forward to he and his wife’s annual trip to their favorite vacation spot, Aruba, where they spent time with family and friends making over a decade of memories. He enjoyed regularly watching his grandson play baseball in Scituate. He enjoyed driving his corvette to visit his grandchildren in Virginia several times a year to spend time with and celebrate their birthdays and holidays with. Tony lived a life that was well lived and well loved. Making memories and being there for small moments such as baseball games and swim meets was very important to him. His laughter, humor, and presence will be very sorely missed by all that were blessed to be a part of his life.
