Armand A. Morin, 83, of Woonsocket, passed away June 11, 2026, at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care. He was the loving husband of Lorraine (Maynard) Morin, whom he married on October 12, 1966. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Armand and Irene (Archambault) Morin.
Armand was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War era. Following his military service, he dedicated thirty years to the Woonsocket Fire Department, retiring in 2001 at the rank of Captain. Armand was also a lifetime member of the Cercle Laurier social club of Woonsocket, where he selflessly dedicated countless volunteer hours serving the club and its community.
Along with his wife, Lorraine, he is survived by their sons, Erik Morin and his wife, Susan, of West Warwick, and Luke Morin and his wife, Jennifer, of Cumberland; three grandchildren, Lindsey Passarelli, Emma Morin, and Avery Morin; and two great-grandchildren, AJ and Zachary.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Woonsocket Firemen's Relief Association, PO Box 395, Woonsocket, RI 02895, in honor of Armand.
