Arthur A. Gobeille, Jr.

Arthur A. Gobeille, Jr., 75, of Woonsocket, died September 20, 2021 in his home. He was the husband of Cinda-Lu (Bonafield) Gobeille, whom he married August 16, 1969. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Arthur A. Gobeille, Sr., and Mildred (Parkin) Gobeille. He was a proud Woonsocket resident for most of his life.



Arthur was a graduate of Woonsocket High School, and received Bachelor Degrees from Benjamin Franklin Institute, Boston, and West Virginia Wesleyan College. He worked as a financial advisor for Ameriprise, and later was a stock broker for Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, retiring in 2013. Arthur had previously worked for Peter Pan Ice Cream, and managed Narragansett Knitting.



Arthur was a family man, and an amazing and supportive father figure. He enjoyed camping and travel, particularly vacationing in Aruba. Arthur enjoyed spending time outdoors on his 40 acre property, and took a lot of pride in the home he helped to build. He was an animal lover, who was always surprising his family with pets they didnt know they needed, whether it be chickens, goats, birds, or dogs. Arthur was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics fan.



Besides his wife, Cinda-Lu, he leaves their children, Arthur A. Gobeille, III and his wife, Danielle, of Sterling, VA, Bethany Gobeille of North Smithfield, and Krislynn Mattscheck and her husband, Stephen, of Woonsocket; three grandchildren, Amanda and Natalie Gobeille, and Wesley Hendrickson. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Cote.
