Barbara A. (Viscione) Bousquet

Barbara A. "Bobbie" Bousquet, 82, of Blackstone, MA, died February 19, 2025 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late George G. Bousquet, whom she married January 12, 1963. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Anthony P. and Rena I. (Viscione) Viscione.

Bobbie worked as a bookkeeper for various area offices until her retirement in 2008. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, and was active in their St. Vincent de Paul Society with her husband. Bobbie enjoyed golfing in her younger years, crocheting, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching golf, horse and car races, and old Western movies.

She leaves her sister, Paula Pappalardo and her husband, Paul, of Pascoag; her niece, Bethany Ucran and her husband, Jonathan, of Smithfield; her grandnephew, Joshua Ucran of Smithfield; and many cousins and God children.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the Blackstone Public Library staff for their book deliveries. The family also extends a special thank you to HopeHealth and Barbara’s “angels” who helped care for her in her final days.

Her funeral will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Divine Mercy Parish, 48 St. Paul St., Blackstone. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-7 PM.
