Barbara Picciotti Obituary

Barbara A. (Gibouleau) Picciotti, 84, of North Smithfield, passed away June 23, 2025 at Briarcliffe Gardens, Johnston. She was the loving wife of 42 years to the late Nicholas G. Picciotti. Born in Palmer, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Anna (Zabek) Gibouleau.

Barbara was a Palmer High School graduate, where she met her best friend and high school sweetheart, Nicholas. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. In her spare time, Barbara liked to read, bake, and have meals with her friends. Above all, Barbara loved her family. She most enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, whether it be spending time at the beach, one of the grandkids sporting events, or sharing a meal, her family was her world.

She is survived by her three daughters; Terri Bartomioli and her husband Michael Jr,. of North Smithfield, Gerri Fontaine of Chepachet, and Nikki Hebert and her husband Theodore III, of Oakland; her sister, Carolyn McMillan, of Garner, NC; four grandchildren, Michael III, Danielle, Jake, and Teddy; and two great grandsons, Michael IV and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Petig and her son in law Leo Fontaine.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket.
