Bethany A. (Nazzaro) Hoyle, 89, of Woonsocket, passed away March 15, 2025 in The Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Philip Hoyle. Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Attilio "Danny" and Theodora (Bender) Nazzaro.
Mrs. Hoyle worked as an activities director for St. Antoine Residence, retiring in 1988. In her younger years, she had the opportunity to attend art school in Paris and enjoyed painting, and arts and crafts, throughout her life. Mrs. Hoyle attended Parsons School of Design in Greenwich Village. She was a longtime member of the former Blackstone Federated Church.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Hoyle and his wife, Jennifer, of Woonsocket; seven grandchildren, Thomas Hoyle and his partner, Catylin Strickland, Alex Hoyle and his wife, Kristen, Dea Johnson and her husband, Dylan, Jeffrey Hoyle and his wife, Cassandra, Drew Hoyle, Sarah Cook and her husband, Matthew Brennan, and Zachary Guerard; and nine great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Emily Hoyle.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Blackstone Cemetery, Mendon St., Blackstone. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
