Betty L. (Graiko) Cavanaugh

Betty L. (Graiko) Cavanaugh, 76, of North Smithfield, died July 13, 2024 at the Bethany Home, Providence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of John Cavanaugh, of North Smithfield. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Sr. and Angela (Kulis) Graiko.

Betty worked as an Administrative Secretary for East Penn Manufacturing, Woonsocket. She enjoyed playing canasta, relaxing by the pool, family cookouts and spending her time with family and friends.

Along with her husband, John, she is survived by their children, Kerri Berman and her husband Andrew, of Millville, Eric Cavanaugh and his partner Aimee Dawkins of Harrisville; her sister, Peggy McCarthy of Cumberland; and her grand dogs, Waylon, Larry and Lynda. She was predeceased by her brother Stanley Graiko Jr.

Her funeral will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church Street, Slatersville. Burial will follow at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Calling hours are Sunday July 21, 2024 from 1-4PM at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
