Billy Joe LaBonne

Billy Joe LaBonne, 69, of Bellingham, died July 21, 2024 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Joan (Wojcik) LaBonne. Born in Bonham, TX, he was the son of the late Ernest J. and Elna Faye (Liner) LaBonne.

Billy Joe was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed racing at Seekonk Speedway in his younger years. Billy Joe was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved being a grandfather, and loved his friends.

Besides his wife Joan, he leaves their children, Keith LaBonne of Bellingham, MA and Audrey Audet of Millville, MA; his sister, Patricia Leduc of Burrillville; three grandchildren, Brent Whitloc, and Kyrsten and Eric LaBonne; two step-granddaughters, Kayla and Maggie Aubin; and his great grandson, Kai Comire. He was predeceased by his brother Louis LaBonne.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salmon Home and Hospice Care, 37 Birch Street, Milford, MA 01757.
