Bruce Dzialo Obituary

Bruce W. Dzialo, 67, of Harrisville, died January 18, 2025 in his home. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Liz" (Pascal) Dzialo of Harrisville. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Walter and Grace (Allen) Dzialo.

Bruce worked as heavy machine operator for Smithfield Peat and Material, Sand, & Stone, and managed his own land clearing and tree removal business, which allowed him to work outdoors where he loved to be, also enjoying fishing, quahogging, and riding his Harley. He spent countless hours over the years just playing outside with his children and grandchildren, who he lived for, riding dirt bikes and quads, building snowmen, swinging, playing wiffle ball and kickball, and watching their many softball, volleyball, and hockey games, and dance recitals. He was known to his grandkids as Jajew, but it is all of the others who called him Jajew, related or not, who really speak to who Bruce was. He brought a smile to everyone he met, with his genuine kindness toward and caring for every single person who was lucky enough to know him.

Along with his wife, Liz, he is survived by his children, Heather Buckley and her husband Bill, of Raynham, Lindsey Matchett and her significant other Dean Rovedo, of Pascoag, Bruce Dzialo Jr. and his wife Kristen, of Epping, NH, Kristen Dzialo and her significant other Travis DeBeaulieu, of North Smithfield, and Jonathan Dzialo and his significant other Sydney Riendeau, of Slatersville; his sister Cheryl Campanelli and her husband Louis of Kissimmee, FL; and six grandchildren Erica, Laura, Thomas, Billy, Emily and Fiona. He was predeceased by his brother John Dzialo.
