Camille R. Racine, 94, husband of Theresa Pickunka and widower of Therese (L'Esperance) Racine died on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Cook Willow Health Center in Plymouth, Connecticut.
Camille was born on August 6, 1928 in Woonsocket, RI and was the only child of the late Emile and Dorila (Carpentier) Racine.
He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War, and worked as an engineer for Brown & Sharpe, North Kingstown, RI for over thirty years, retiring in 1991. Camille was an avid bowler and enjoyed to golf.
In addition to his wife, Camille is survived by two daughters: Susan Berard of Terryville, CT and Joanne Gagnon and her husband, Michael of South Hadley, MA; four grandsons: Stephen and his wife Erin, Timothy and his wife Hillary, Daniel, and Eric and his wife Sayo; and four great-grandchildren: Shelby, Storm, Kody, and Lio.
His funeral will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022 beginning with visitation from 8:45 - 9:45AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in the parish cemetery.
