Carolyn G. (Younkin) Biron

Carolyn G. (Younkin) Biron, 79, of Pascoag, passed away January 31, 2025 in Overlook Nursing and Rehab, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Donald Biron whom she married August 17, 1968. Born in Williamsport, PA she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Seitzer) Younkin and Burrows Younkin, Sr.

Mrs. Biron grew up in Woonsocket before moving to Burillville in 1973 to raise her family. Carolyn attended Katherine Gibbs School, worked as an assistant preschool teacher at the YMCA, and later worked as a manager for Diamond Video before retiring. She was an animal lover, especially cats, loved spending time with her family, enjoyed metal detecting with her husband, Donald, and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jody Biron of Mapleville, and Sherry Biron of Canterbury, CT; a brother, Richard Younkin of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren, Evan, Dana, Stephanie, Marissa, Jesse, Rebecca, and Sara; and five great grandchildren, Ashton, Hunter, Lucas, Cody, and Ava. She was the sister of the late Sara E. Younkin.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
