Charles E. Atteridge, Jr.

Charles E. Atteridge Jr., 84, of Millville, died November 7, 2023 in Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Squires) Atteridge of Millville. Born in North Smithfield, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Noella (Deroy) Atteridge.

Charlie worked as a machinist for Draper Corporation and West Hill Machine Corporation. He also served in the US Army. He enjoyed going to car shows with his son Chuck and going to breakfast with his wife during the week and his son on the weekends. Some of his favorite times were spent with his granddaughters. He also enjoyed Sunday's at the barn. Charlie was an avid NASCAR fan. He will be remembered for dropping whatever he was doing to help anyone.

Along with his wife, Patricia he is survived by their son, Chuck Atteridge and his wife, Jennifer, of Millbury; and his two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Charlotte. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Robert Atteridge and Gloria Desrosiers.

His funeral will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Granite St., Uxbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV), 17 Court St., PO Box 845257, Boston, MA 02108.
