Charles H. Jacobs, 84, of Manville, died December 6, 2025 in The Holiday Retirement Home. He was the husband of the late Ann (Caswell) Jacobs and the late Susan (Bradley) Jacobs. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Ernest and Rose (Stefanik) Jacobs.
Mr. Jacobs was a carpenter who owned CJ & Sons. He enjoyed swimming, basketball, volleyball, biking, his fish pond, building swing sets and picnic tables, traveling, scuba diving, and spending time at the YMCA.
He leaves his children, Michael Jacobs and his wife, Cathy, of Blackstone, MA, Mary Jacobs and her partner, Mike Smith of CT, Patricia Francisco and her husband, Mike, of Pocatello, ID, Thomas Jacobs and his wife, Joan of Framingham, MA, and Christopher Jacobs of Providence; his half-sisters Christine Labrun and Pat Jacobs; thirteen grandchildren, Michael and Dustin Jacobs, Rachel , Jillian, and Benjamin Goulart, Nikki and Sammy Francisco, Nicholas, Zachary, Kristen, William and Brynn Jacobs, and James Flanagan; four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Jacobs and his half-sister Diane Jacobs.
His funeral will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 beginning with visitation from 10:30AM-12PM followed by a service at 12PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holiday Retirement Home Activities Dept., 30 Sayles Hill Rd., Manville, RI 02838.
