Claire C. (Bourget) Allard

Claire C. (Bourget) Allard, 101, a lifelong resident of North Smithfield, died September 11, 2024 in HopeHealth Hulitar Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Milton V. Allard. Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Dorias and Delina (Ducharme) Bourget.

Mrs. Allard worked for FM Global Insurance Co., formerly Allendale Insurance Company for 15 years, retiring in 1985. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish and St. John the Evangelist Church. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and taking day trips with her husband.

She leaves her sons, Vernon Allard and his wife Cathy of Laguna Niguel, CA, Dennis Allard and his wife Carol of Albion, Marc Allard of Woonsocket, Peter Allard and his wife Debra of Douglas, MA, and Stephen Allard of North Attleboro, MA; eight grandchildren, Giselle, Erin, Jeffrey, Janae, Tory, Kevin, Noelle and Danielle; and five great grandchildren, Seth, Peter Jeffrey, Jolene, Adeline and Jin. She was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice and Roger Bourget.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 9AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Slatersville Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-6PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holiday Retirement Home, Activities Fund, 30 Sayles Hill Rd., Manville, RI 02838
