Claire I. (Corriveau) Bousquet

Claire I. (Corriveau) Bousquet, 89, of Woonsocket, passed away February 18, 2025 at home. She was the wife of the late Felix J. Bousquet, Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Corriveau, Sr. and Yvonne (Archambault) Corriveau.

Mrs. Bousquet worked as a pharmacy technician for CVS on Cass Ave., Woonsocket for thirty years. Claire was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a former treasurer for the Boy Scouts. She loved playing cribbage, reading, travelling, sitting in her swing, and Saturday shopping trips. 

She is survived by five children, Susan LaRose and her husband, Dennis Knapp, of Putnam, CT, Jeanne LaRose of Woonsocket, Elaine Tetreault and her husband, Ernest, of Woonsocket, Alan LaRose and his wife, Susan, of Goshen, NH, and Karen Edington of Woonsocket; three brothers, Wilfred Corriveau, Jr., Ronald Corriveau, and Edward Corriveau, all of Woonsocket; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a great great grandson. She was predeceased by brother Lionel "Caboose" Corriveau; her sisters, Beatrice Weigand, and Gloria Provencher; her son-in-law, Ray Edington; and her granddaughter, Kerri Jeanne Piedoux.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025 beginning at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7 PM.
